Sexual & reproductive rights (SRHR)
Health
The Youth Ambassador for Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights, Gender Equality and Bodily Autonomy (YASRHR) programme is a partnership between CHOICE for Youth & Sexuality and the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA). The program gives young people a voice and a platform to advocate for their sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR) and for meaningful and inclusive youth participation (MIYP) in all areas of decision-making: national, regional and international. As YASRHR, you have a say in the MoFA's efforts in the field of SRHR and gender equality. You will ensure that the work of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs is more in line with the reality of young people and use your role to promote SRHR, gender equality, and bodily autonomy for young people worldwide. You will build bridges between young people around the world and the MoFA, giving young people access to policy-making and enabling the Ministry to draw on the ideas, knowledge, and networks of young people and gain a better understanding of their experiences and perspectives.
As YASRHR, you will:
- Gather input from diverse youth in the Netherlands and abroad on SRHR and gender equality, through focus groups and direct conversations.
