The Asia Foundation, with support from Google.org, is implementing the APAC Cybersecurity Fund (ACF)—a regional initiative aimed at building inclusive and sustainable cybersecurity ecosystems across the Asia-Pacific. In the Philippines, ACF partners with local organizations to deliver cyber hygiene training to micro, small, and medium enterprises, nonprofits, and social enterprises. The program aims to reach 60,000 individuals from 30,000 organizations by 2026. 

To further its inclusive impact, ACF seeks a GEDSI Specialist to design and deliver GEDSI sensitivity training to implementing partners. This is a short-term consultancy from September 15 to October 10, 2025, with the GEDSI training to be held in Metro Manila on October 2, 2025. 

Key Responsibilities 

  • Review ACF program materials and tailor GEDSI training modules to suit program stakeholders and contexts. 
  • Develop practical, participatory, and culturally relevant training content, case studies, exercises, and tools. 
  • Deliver a one-day GEDSI sensitivity training workshop to leadership and staff of implementing partners. 
  • Facilitate discussions that challenge bias, promote empathy, and encourage inclusive practices. 
  • Provide strategies and tools for integrating GEDSI principles into daily program implementation. 
  • Design and apply pre- and post-training evaluation tools to assess learning outcomes. 
  • Submit a final report summarizing training outputs, participant feedback, and recommendations. 
  • Coordinate closely with the ACF PH Program team throughout the consultancy. 
Qualifications 

Required 

  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) in gender studies, sociology, social work, community development, human rights, or related field. 
  • At least 3 years of experience facilitating gender equality, disability, or social inclusion trainings. 
  • Demonstrated use of adult learning principles and participatory training methods. 
  • Proven experience working with women, youth, persons with disabilities, and/or indigenous groups. 
  • Strong communication skills in English and Filipino.
