At Girls in Global (GiG), we believe in community-led advocacy. We don’t follow a fixed theory of change. Instead, our approach is simple: empower communities to lead, and help them get the resources they need to create impact.

We are launching two pilot research-based projects, but the solutions will be region-specific and driven by local insights. How we move forward, scale, and support these communities is exactly where we need guidance.

We are looking for advisory board members who:
- Understand decentralized, community-driven advocacy
- Are excited to co-create strategies rather than dictate them
- Can offer guidance on fundraising, partnerships, and scaling localized solutions

If you are passionate about shifting power to communities and helping shape a nimble, adaptive, and people-centered approach to social change, we would love to hear from you.

The roles are open globally for womxn+ and non-binary individuals on a rolling basis. It will be a volunteering role (unpaid) since we are in the process of raising funds. If you think this suits your priorities in this moment, please connect with us to learn more and join our advisory journey.

Edit 1: Thankyou for the amazing response. Since this role doesn't have a strict JD, we are looking for individuals who are aligned to our mission and the ways that we work. Please share your expression of interest, along with a CV/work profile on our email [email protected] and we can work on how best we can use your expertise to advance our mission of community-led, community-based work from a global lens.
