Creative Content Coordinator
Micro-Internship Opportunity - Summer 2025

Who We Are:

Platform is a 501(c) (3) nonprofit organization that envisions a just, equitable, diverse, and inclusive society in which courageous youth and women become impactful platforms for our underrepresented communities. We offer facilitator trainings, leadership programs, and workshops that empower, educate, and equip young women to become leaders in their community. 

The social media intern will work on enhancing our online presence and help strategize campaigns by creating captivating content that tells our story and drives conversation. Your innovative ideas and ability to think outside the box will energize our campaigns, ensuring that each post resonates with our audience and reflects our voice. The social media intern will help boost engagement and visibility, as well as raise interest in our programs and organizations

Tasks: 
  • - Identify trends and leverage them to craft timely and relevant content
  • - Draft, edit, and post social posts weekly
  • - Create a content calendar to track, schedule, and post content
  • - Design fun, creative graphics 
  • - Use analytics to measure effectiveness and optimize future posts to increase visibility
  • - Collaborate with Board Members and the CEO on social media campaigns and posts

Qualifications: 
  • - Be an incoming College student/current college student.
  • - Have general knowledge of social media platforms, including Meta, Instagram, and LinkedIn.
  • - Be proficient in Canva and/or other graphic design platforms.
