The Alliance Coordinator is a senior leadership role for the Global Alliance for Green and Gender Action (GAGGA), a network established in 2016 that connects women's funds, environmental justice organizations, NGOs, and women-led community-based organizations. GAGGA focuses on strengthening connections between women's rights, gender, climate, and environmental justice across Africa, Asia, Pacific, Latin America, Europe, and global initiatives. Its main objectives include influencing governments and investors to divest from fossil fuels, defending ecosystems, and supporting gender-just climate solutions. The alliance is led by Fondo Centroamericano de Mujeres (FCAM), with Mama Cash and Both ENDS as collaborating organizations. The Alliance Coordinator will be responsible for strategic management and internal coordination, leading advocacy initiatives targeting governments, investors and donors, overseeing resource mobilization and fundraising, operational oversight of strategic plans and budgets, and supervising the GAGGA Coordination Unit team. Qualifications for this position include a Master's degree in a relevant field, 10 years of international development experience, at least 5 years coordinating advocacy for gender/environmental/climate justice, fundraising and partnership development experience, experience with multi-actor, multi-cultural programs, strong commitment to women's rights and environmental justice, leadership and team management skills, and fluency in English and Spanish, with French considered a plus.
