Gender-based violence (GBV)
Are you passionate about gender equality, social justice, and youth empowerment? Do you want to be part of a vibrant, purpose-driven community creating safe and supportive spaces for girls and young women in Los Angeles? Girls Talk LA is seeking dynamic, committed, and creative individuals to join our volunteer team!
As a volunteer, you’ll help us advance our mission to amplify girls’ voices, promote mental well-being, end gender-based violence, and foster social change. We welcome individuals with diverse skill sets—from community outreach and mentorship to event planning, advocacy, and digital content creation. Your contributions will directly support our programs and impact in the community.

Time Commitment & Availability
We ask volunteers to commit a few hours per week for a minimum of 6 months. Most responsibilities can be completed remotely, though we do host occasional in-person events on evenings or weekends. Volunteers are also expected to attend a short 1-hour monthly check-in meeting. We’re flexible with scheduling and deeply value your consistency and dedication.

Who Should Apply
We encourage volunteers of all ages and backgrounds—including teens, international volunteers, and those aged 55+—to apply. Whether you're a student, professional, or retiree, your voice and time matter.

Participation Requirements
All volunteers must complete a background check and attend an orientation session prior to starting. Training and support will be provided to ensure you feel prepared and empowered in your role.
