Job Summary:
We are seeking a Curriculum Developer/curator for the MASSp initiative, tasked with designing school safety educational curriculum in line with the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020. The ideal candidate will develop age appropriate experiential (games, art, stories) content on digital safety as a key pillar of digital literacy, integrating child safety, trafficking prevention, and exploitation awareness for adolescents ages 10-18 years (9-12/13-15/16-18). This role also involves developing teacher training programs, TOT (Training of Trainers), and parent engagement modules to ensure a holistic approach to child safety education in schools.
Key Deliverables:
Curriculum Design and Development
Integration of NEP Guidelines.
Training and Capacity Building
Requirements:
● Master’s degree in Education, Curriculum Development, Child Psychology, Social Sciences, or a related field.
● Additional qualifications in Educational Technology or Pedagogical Innovation are an advantage.
● 2 to 3 years of experience in curriculum development, ideally focusing on child safety, digital literacy, and life skills education.
● Strong knowledge of NEP 2020 and its application in K-12 settings, especially with adolescent education and child-centric learning approaches.
● Ability to create digital learning materials and adapt content for LMS platforms and e-learning environments.
● Experience in designing inclusive curricula for students from diverse backgrounds, including differently-abled learners.
● Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
● Knowledge of NEP 2020 guidelines, competency-based education, and the development of 21st-century skills.
