Join our queer-led, intersectional team through the project Level Up! You can acquire skills in the field of working with people (especially marginalized communities, LGBT+ people, people who struggle mental health, neurodiverse people), personal planning, project work, international cooperation, activism, communications, videography and photography, and cultural expression and engagement. Typical tasks are participation in the implementation of weekly evenings of board games, co-organization of artistic, social and recreational events, street work, connecting in the community, creating educational content including linguistics, queer topics and awareness raising, and the development of a personal project.

In each task, you will have personal mentor support, coordinator support and enhanced mentor support, and will take on the role of a learning person who offers and enables space for young people with fewer opportunities for connection and community. There will be training opportunities for every activity undertaken, with a focus on NGO administration, specifics of working with LGBT+ youth, peer support and cocreating support networks and street youth work. Additionally, you will be encouraged to undertake more learning opportunities and will receive individual and group lessons in Slovene.

Young people aged 18 - 30 from the EU, experience in volunteering in contexts of LGBT+ activism and NGOs is desirable but not necessary. A strong antidiscrimination stance is necessary. Basic English knowledge is required, Slovene is not. Considering the activities, an interest in queer topics, videography, feminism, street work and street activism and languages would make for the best match.
