The Asia Feminist LBQ Network (AFLN) is a regional organisation in Asia that works to create a sustainable and intersectional human rights movement for the social and political inclusion of LBQ persons. We envision a world where LBQ persons are free, visible and included in all levels of society.
Are you passionate about gender justice, resource mobilization, and feminist movement-building? We’re looking for a Project Coordinator to support the Executive Director on the establishment of a Queer Feminist Fund, ensuring sustainable funding and support for feminist activists and LGBTIQ organizations. If you have strong project management skills and a deep commitment to queer intersectional feminism, this is the role for you!
Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the development and operational setup of a new feminist fund.
  • Conduct research on funding landscapes, donor engagement, and grantmaking models.
  • Help to facilitate strategic planning, governance structures, and financial frameworks for the fund.
  • Build and nurture relationships with feminist movements, donors, and stakeholders.
  • Develop fundraising strategies and identify potential funding sources.
  • Help to ensure the fund’s accountability, transparency, and alignment with feminist principles.
  • Organize consultations, capacity-building initiatives, and advocacy efforts to amplify feminist funding.
Ideal Candidate:
  • Proven experience in project coordination, grant making, or non-profit management.
  • Strong understanding of feminist funding models, philanthropy, and resource mobilization.
  • Excellent skills in strategic planning, stakeholder engagement, and partnership-building.
  • Commitment to intersectional feminism and social justice movements.
  • Experience working with funders, grassroots organizations, and feminist networks.
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines.
