About the Role
As a Co-Programme Lead, you’ll collaborate with your Co-Lead to ensure seamless coordination of CHEVS’ initiatives across Francophone and Anglophone West Africa. Your responsibilities will include:
- Program Design & Strategy: Develop localized, culturally sensitive strategies aligned with CHEVS’ mission and feminist principles.
- Implementation & Delivery: Oversee program execution, ensuring timely completion and impactful outcomes.
- Advocacy & Movement Building: Strengthen grassroots LGBTQIA+ and feminist movements, driving policy changes and empowering activists.
- Team Leadership: Supervise, mentor, and build capacity within programmatic teams to foster collaboration and excellence.
- Partnership & Resource Mobilization: Cultivate strategic alliances with stakeholders and identify funding opportunities to expand CHEVS’ reach.
Qualifications and Skills

- At least 5 years of experience in programme management, with at least 3 years in a supervisory role. Experience in non-profit or feminist organisations is an advantage.
- Strong programme implementation and management skills.
- Excellent leadership and team management abilities.
- Proven experience in programme development and innovation.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to translate concepts appropriately to diverse stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to inform, instruct, teach and/or present to audiences of all types.
- Demonstrated ability to manage data collection processes and to analyze and explain findings or implications of evaluation data.
- Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office.
- Fluency in both written and spoken English/French is a plus
