Job Description
International Medical Corps UK provides emergency relief to those struck by disaster no matter where they are, no matter what the conditions, working with them to recover, rebuild and gain the skills and tools required for self reliance.
MAIN TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Coordination with project focal points and partners
• Work closely with project team and lead weekly planning meetings
• Facilitate and document regular meetings with GBV AoR CoP moderators and GBV AoR CoP Advisory Committee
• Monitor project work-plans and follow up with project team and partners to ensure timely implementation of project activities

Mentorship initiative
• Manage mentorship databases
• Invite new mentors and mentees to participate in mentorship initiative

Maintain and update Phase II training curriculum
• Conduct periodic reviews of online curriculum

• Circulate Phase II training announcements and manage responses
• Review applications and shortlist applicants for consideration

Administrative support to global trainings
• Coordinate with relevant departments such Security, Finance, Logistics, and Travel to organize global training workshops

• Work closely with relevant departments to plan and procure supplies required for program activities, in line with budget and project timelines
• Ensure compliance with donor regulations

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Typically, bachelor’s degree in social work, public health, international development
- Advanced degree in social work, public health, international development, or related field is preferred
- Excellent organizational skills
- Excellent writing skills
- Detail oriented, with proven experience maintaining large volumes of communication and information
- Commitment to GBV prevention and response work, demonstrated through professional experience, volunteer work or course study
- Familiarity with project management and systems for M&E
- Experience organizing international travel, trainings or multi-day workshops, or similar experience
- Demonstrated flexibility and openness in responding to evolving priorities and environments.
- Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently and as a member of a team.
