Movement building
ActionAid UK is a member of the ActionAid Federation, an international charity that works with women and girls living in poverty. As part of the ActionAid Federation, we work with women and girls, our partners, and dedicated staff in 43 countries to end violence and fight poverty so that all women, everywhere, can create the future they want.
Are you a keen advocate of women and girls’ rights in emergencies?
Are you a dynamic and creative campaign strategist with a passion for driving social change?
Then we'd love to hear from you!
ActionAid UK is looking for a Senior Campaigns Manager to lead transformative public campaigns that inspire action, mobilise communities, and influence key decision-makers. This role offers the chance to shape impactful advocacy efforts, bringing new supporters on board while deepening connections with our existing base.
As Senior Campaigns Manager, you will be at the forefront of developing compelling, multi-channel campaigns that align with ActionAid’s bold mission to empower women and girls worldwide. Working closely with diverse teams across our organisation and the global ActionAid Federation, you’ll collaborate with like-minded changemakers to deliver innovative and results-driven campaigns. From influencing UK Government policy to building coalitions for climate justice, this is your opportunity to make a lasting impact.
What You’ll Do:
• Lead the design and delivery of ground-breaking campaigns that mobilise people-powered movements to achieve strategic goals.
• Translate complex issues into engaging, accessible narratives to captivate new audiences while energising loyal supporters.
• Work cross-functionally with digital, media, and fundraising teams to ensure campaigns reach their maximum potential.
• Build alliances with external coalitions, networks, and partners to amplify our reach and voice.
• Manage and grow a passionate campaign team, nurturing their skills while upholding ActionAid’s feminist, anti-racist, and decolonial principles.
What We’re Looking For:
You are an experienced campaigner with a proven track record of delivering high-impact strategies that influence policy and drive public action. You thrive on seizing opportunities, managing multiple projects, and crafting narratives that resonate. Knowledge of the UK political landscape and experience in multi-channel advocacy campaigns are essential.
