Job Purpose:
Strategic Partnerships Coordinator  Strategic Partnerships Manager London N3 & Remote All members of the Strategic Partnerships & Communications Team as well as colleagues from across the organisation including Global Programmes Team, Core Mission Team, Individual Giving & Philanthropy Team, World Centres, Membership Team and Finance Team. This is a new role within a small but global team working with a range of experts and specialists with in-depth knowledge of both the global Girl Guiding Movement and the international development sector. Your primary focus will be to support the Strategic Partnerships and Communications team to secure new income-generating partnerships that are aligned to WAGGGS’ vision and purpose, and to manage and grow existing partnerships. There will be opportunities for you to develop your strategic partnership skills and experience while providing strong and effective support to the team.  This role does not have line management or budget responsibility.

Key Responsibilities:
1. To support with the identification, engagement, and cultivation of new strategic partnerships. This will include undertaking research to identify potential partners, evaluating how well they fit with WAGGGS’ vision, purpose and programme offer, and supporting the team to manage and maintain a strong pipeline of new funding opportunities.

2. To support with stewardship and account management of existing strategic partnerships.  This will include scheduling meetings, capturing notes and actions, preparing partnership updates and grant reports.  You will support all deliverables linked to the partnerships.  Opportunities will exist to take on increasing account responsibility over time.

3. To support with the preparation of new funding bids and proposals, often working to tight deadlines.  For example, working with other WAGGGS departments to source information and input for bids, helping to draft responses to bid questions, and internal due diligence processes. Longer term – working proactively to create and maintain a library of useful bid data and information to streamline the preparation of future funding proposals.

 4. To take ownership of varied projects as requested – for the most part, linked to strategic partnerships (for example supporting new partnership set up and engagement), but on occasion also linked to external or internal communications.

5. To support cross-departmental work (with Global Programmes, Core Mission, World Centres, and others) to develop creative and innovative funding propositions and cases for support for strategic partners. This will include exposure to proposition building and creating accurate project budgets. 

6. To support the team administratively as needed.

Qualifications & Experience:
Experience of working within the not for profit and/or private sector partnerships.  
Experience of developing strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders,  
Experience of supporting the securing of new funding partnerships.  
Account management support experience. 
Highly organised, excellent communication and administration skills.  
Fluent in spoken and written English.
