Organisational Overview
Global Girl Project (GGP) is an international charity that mobilises marginalised girls within the Majority World (Global South) to become agents of social change through community development and social action. Founded nine years ago in the US as a registered 501(c)3 non-profit, GGP became a Charitable Incorporated Organisation in the UK in 2019. We work globally, within the Majority World, in partnership with well-established organisations and schools to run innovative and impactful leadership programming for girls aged 13 to 18 years.
Roles
We are looking for two volunteers to join our fundraising campaign planning and organising team volunteering remotely. Your roles will be integral in helping us achieve our goal for the campiagn which is scheduled for the first quarter of 2025.
1. Events and logistics volunteer: As our Events and Logistics Volunteer, you will:

  • Coordinate planning, organising, and executing both online and in-person events for the campaign.


  • Coordinate event details, including venues, virtual platforms, schedules and registration.


  • Work with the rest of the team to ensure seamless event operations.

2. Fundraising volunteer: In this role, you will: 

  • Help drive the fundraising efforts by engaging potential donors.


  • Assist with creating innovative ways to connect supporters with our mission.


  • Track fundraising goals and report performance.

About You (Please note skills applicable to the role(s) you are applying for)
Essential Skills
Event organising
: Experience in planning and organising virtual and in-person events
Fundraising: Experience in running successful fundraising campaigns
Understanding of development, racial, and gender equality models
Computer literacy
: Comfortable using various computer programs and tools.
English skills: Strong spoken and written English.
Familiarity with Google Drive 

Personal Attributes
Self-motivated and driven
: Able to manage your work independently and drive it forward.
Highly organised: Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
Committed to feminist and anti-colonial ways of work
Comfortable working remotely
: Able to work independently with little daily supervision.

Time Commitment

  • 1-3 hours weekly
