Tasks to be performed:

  • -Contacts point for Group’s staff, MEPs, and MEPs’ Staff to give clarity on the different options offered by the Group’s policy, their scope, possible follow-up, and implications;
  • -Providing administrative support to external experts conducting inquiries, and remaining available to the different parties involved in the inquiry throughout the procedure;
  • -Building and maintaining an updated network of external mediators and external experts for  mediation, and to conduct inquiries;
  • -Receive warning signals and informal alerts, and report them regularly to the Secretary General and the Deputy Secretary General for follow-up;
  • -Organise regular internal communication, info sessions and awareness raising activities on the group’s Anti-Harassment policy;
  • -Organisation of the mandatory trainings for Staff members and MEPs, both in cooperation with the European Parliament, and with external trainers;
  • -Coordination of the network of internal confidential counsellors, organisation of the relevant trainings and overseeing the selection procedure;
  • -Coordination of the Harassment Prevention Team for group’s external events, including the organisation of the relevant trainings;
  • -Support to the Deputy Secretary General in the regular evaluation and possible modification of the Group’s Anti-Harassment structures.
     
Requirements:

  • -At least three years of relevant professional experience in line with the job description and tasks to be performed, notably in the field of counselling, mediation, conflict resolution, or prevention of harassment;
    -A high sense of discretion and confidentiality;
  • -Experience with the handling of sensitive and confidential information;
  • -Strong interpersonal skills, notably with regard to communication, conflict resolution, active listening, and emotional intelligence;
  • -Excellent English orally and in writing, and knowledge of at least one other EU language;
  • -Ability to work well in a team.
 
Assets:

  • -Additional educational background or trainings relevant for this position;
  • -Previous experience working in a political environment ;
  • -Experience in a multicultural environment;
  • -Knowledge of other official languages of the European Union. 

  • Under article 82, (3) of the Conditions of Employment of Other Servants (CEOS) of the European Communities, candidates must:
