Project Planning & Execution
- With collaboration and oversight from the Vice President of Development, manage resource planning and implementation of projects, programs, and initiatives.
- Schedule, plan and coordinate regular project meetings to track progress, staff utilization, address issues, and ensure alignment among team members.
- Assist and support annual work planning, budgeting, and overall program financial management as required.
- Manage the development and implementation of cross-functional project resources, processes and solutions.
Team Management & Collaboration
- Design and administer cross-functional workgroups and the implementation of related project resources, processes, and solutions.
- Create tasks and responsibilities for team members and ensure they are aware of their roles and deadlines.
- Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors and stakeholders to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
Risk Management
- Analyze potential project risks and work with appropriate senior leadership team members to develop mitigation strategies.
- Engage with senior leadership and cross-functional teams to define problems and develop solutions.
- Audit project risks, consult with senior leadership, and propose corrective actions as needed to minimize impact on project outcomes.
Qualifications
The successful candidate will have/be:
- Bachelor’s Degree and 5-7 years of project management experience required.
- Supervisory experience and/or a PMP or CAMP certification is preferred, but not required.
- Experience in operations management and process optimization.
- Exposure to the digital product lifecycle from concept to launch.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to comfortably and expertly inform and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to identify risks and develop solutions.
- Experience with continuous improvement and learning processes.
- Able to build solid relationships with internal teams and external partners.
- Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft.
- Self-starter who understands how to optimize work with staff across all levels of the organization and as part of a remote team
- Passion for producing highly detailed work, and for leading quality deliverables and accuracy across wide breadth of assignments.
- Comfortable with uncertainty, with the drive and creativity to establish efficiencies that support order and structure.
- Expert level working with Microsoft products, including SharePoint, Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
- Solid skills with utilizes and operationalizing project management tools, – prefer some familiarity with Monday.com and Airtable.
