WomenatthecentrE is a survivor-led organization dedicated to eradicating GBV against women, gender-diverse, Two-Spirit, and trans people. We are the only survivor-led organization in Canada, focusing on amplifying survivors' voices to shape policies and programs aimed at ending GBV. With 6,000+ members worldwide, we drive transformative change through advocacy and shared experiences.

"Cross-sectoral Solutions," funded by the Public Health Agency of Canada (PHAC), is a trauma-informed, multi-sectoral program for survivors of GBV with suspected traumatic brain injury (GBV-TBI). This project builds community capacity, raises awareness, and fills gaps in care, research, and public knowledge.

Weβre seeking a part-time Research Associate to support this project and help evaluate its success.
ππ²π π₯π²ππ½πΌπ»ππΆπ―πΆπΉπΆππΆπ²π: π
β’ Report to the Director of Research, Program Managers, and Executive Director
β’ Attend team, advisory board, and committee meetings
β’ Complete training on GBV and TBI
β’ Conduct secondary research, scoping reviews, and literature reviews
β’ Analyze qualitative and quantitative data using Excel
β’ Create reports, infographics, publications, and presentations
β’ Maintain confidentiality of survivor data
β’ Collaborate with staff, volunteers, and placement students

βοΈ Identify as a survivor of GBV and/or TBI
βοΈ Knowledge of trauma-informed approaches
βοΈ Experience with intersectional feminism, anti-racism, and anti-oppression frameworks
βοΈ Excellent communication and presentation skills
βοΈ Experience in community development or advocacy
βοΈ Skills in NVivo, Qualtrics, SPSS, or coding are assets
βοΈ French is a plus but not required
