Girl Up is a girl-centered leadership development initiative founded by the UN Foundation. We believe in focusing on equity for girls and women in spaces where they are unheard of or underrepresented. RESPONSIBILITIES:
With training and support from Girl Up India, the Associate will:
Cultivate new and support existing Girl Up Clubs across India by being active on different communication channels;
Complete regular reporting  requirements ;
Develop and execute surveys to measure Girl Up’s impact and establish feedback mechanisms to improve program execution;
Maintain and update roster(s) to track Clubs, members, events, attendees and speakers;
Design, draft and update Girl Up program resources both in English and Hindi, as necessary;
Design and execute events, webinars and workshops to train, connect and inspire the community;
Lead the development and execution of monthly social media and promotional plans to increase the engagement and reach of Girl Up India’s social media handles;
Identify and cultivate strategic partnerships with like-minded organizations and influencers to expand the reach and impact of Girl Up India's communications initiatives;
Create and disseminate social media content focused on engaging and inspiring Girl Up’s target audience;
Contribute to the creation of blogs, articles, press releases, reports and other written content;
Support the Community Intern in successfully executing their duties;
Facilitate the Country Director by systematically culling out relevant information about the community in a timely and efficient manner;
Assist with time-bound projects, as needed

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCES:
A degree in social sciences or humanities or other relevant fields
At least 1 to 2 years of full-time work experience 
Must have a deep and nuanced understanding of Indian intersectional feminist politics
Commitment to girls’ leadership and gender equality
Demonstrated skills in community building and youth engagement
Research skills and ability to convert research into accessible, impactful content
Demonstrated skills in designing various forms of content, including social media posts, videos, blogs, press releases, newsletters, reels, etc.
Have clear written and verbal communication skills
Should be a self-starter, willing and able to take initiative
Ability to stay organised, meet deadlines, and work well with the team in a fast-paced working environment
