Specific duties and accountabilities include but are not limited to:
Analytical Support
• Providing analytical support to the Global Operations Manager by conducting data analysis and generating insights to inform decision-making and drive operational improvements.
• Developing and maintaining dashboards and reports to visualize and communicate analytical findings to stakeholders.
• Assisting in the identification and implementation of process improvements based on data-driven insights.
Project Management
• Assisting in coordinating and managing projects within the front office, including creating project plans, tracking progress, and ensuring timely completion of deliverables.
• Coordinating and facilitating meetings, including preparing agendas, documenting meeting minutes, and tracking action items
• Contributing to corporate projects, ensuring that these are completed on time and within scope.
Stakeholder Coordination
• Serving as a primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders interacting with the Gender Operations unit and the Regional Leads and Sub-Regional Program Officers. This includes coordinating communications between the Global Operations Manager and various departments, partners, and clients.
• Responsibly managing confidential information with discretion, maintaining a professional demeanor in all interactions.
Communication and Knowledge Management
• Drafting project communications and project reports in collaboration with the Regional Leads and the Communication specialists.
• Provide quality control by monitoring documents for accuracy, ensuring adherence to unit guidelines and procedures, and assisting in editing, formatting, and production of documents and correspondence.
• Supporting the Global Operations Manager in publishing specific results on social media, in coordination with Communication specialists.
Front office
• Supporting the Global Operations Manager with the follow-through of commitments and answering inquiries from internal and external stakeholders.
• Coordinating daily activities, including scheduling meetings, travel arrangements, coordinating responses to corporate requests, maintaining key documentation.
Other tasks could be added depending on skills and need.
Selection Criteria
• Bachelor’s degree in business, economics, finance, international relations, or other relevant discipline required; a Master’s degree in a similar area will be a plus.
• A minimum of three years of professional experience in fields relevant to private sector development, development, and if possible, gender.
• Familiarity with IFC’s strategic priorities and operations.
• Strong analytical and conceptual formulation capabilities, including the ability to distill and summarize large amounts of information from various sources to prepare business documents and presentations.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to write in a logical and comprehensive, yet concise manner.
• Good project management skills with proven ability to support execution of projects against often-short timelines.
• Strong command of English (written and verbal)
