Role Summary: 
The Project Manager will lead a three-year project focused on promoting social norms and behavior change related to Gender Justice and Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR) among teenagers, adolescents, and young women in Kenya. This role combines project management and behavioral science expertise to design, implement, and evaluate culturally sensitive interventions that challenge and shift social norms, particularly within religious communities, to empower young women to make informed SRHR decisions.

The Project Manager will collaborate with county-level partners, faith leaders, youth volunteers, and other stakeholders, ensuring that all activities align with Faith to Action Network’s strategic goals and donor expectations.

Key Responsibilities:
Project Management and Implementation (50%) -Oversee all project phases, ensuring alignment with donor requirements and organizational goals.
Coordinate activities across multiple counties, ensuring timely and accurate reporting.
Engage local stakeholders, including faith leaders and county officials.
Manage project budgets with the Finance team.
Utilize digital tools like Project Connect for effective communication and project tracking.
Stakeholder and Partner Management (10%) -Secure and maintain stakeholder engagement throughout the project.
Support local partners, faith hubs, and youth volunteers, fostering an inclusive work culture.
Behavioral Science Research and Design (20%)
Collaborate with M&E lead to integrate behavioral science into research.
Apply behavioral models to analyze data and propose solutions.
Lead in-field research on norms change and report findings.
Resource Mobilization and Innovation (10%) -Identify new projects, partners, and growth opportunities.
Contribute to proposals and business development activities.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in behavioral sciences, communications, social science, or related fields (Master’s preferred).
7+ years of experience in behavior change science-related programs.
Experience working with NGOs, CSOs, local groups, faith-based leaders, and government agencies.
Experience in semi-urban or rural Kenya, or with diverse faith-based organizations.
Demonstrated experience in donor/project reporting.
Experience with Social and Behavior Change (SBC) programs related to Gender/SRHR.
Experience managing donor relations for American-funded projects.
Proficiency in workshop facilitation and application of behavioral science.
High digital literacy and excellent communication skills.
