RESPONSIBILITIES  
  • Project Management: Oversees day-to-day operations of multiple projects, ensuring they remain on track, within budget, and uphold employee satisfaction.
  • Organizational: Directs operations to ensure timely completion of work, efficient team management, goal setting, effective delegation, performance evaluation, and staffing decisions.
  • Leadership: Cultivates a positive and collaborative environment among team members and committed partners.
  • Problem Solving: Identifies and resolves conflicts, budget constraints, and addresses customer and stakeholder inquiries or complaints.
  • Communications: Manages external communications to ensure consistent, timely, and engaging messaging across social media and e-marketing channels. Leads the drafting of content posted or programmed by the Event Manager or Virtual Assistant. 
  • Representation: Represents the WILD Network at in-person and online events as an attendee, and speaker, including in the greater Washington DC area.
  • Marketing: Conducts outreach via email, calls, and video calls to secure sponsorships and group ticket sales from prospective customers. Participates with the CEO on fostering relationships with philanthropic organizations.
  • Event Curation: Directs the content strategy as the Director of Content for the virtual and in-person Women’s Global Leadership Forums, ensuring alignment with the overall editorial vision, industry trends, and audience preferences to maintain excellence and engagement. Work closely with Event Manager to understand online event features to maximize event goals.
  • Speaker management: Selects speakers through scoping at in-person and virtual events, self-nominations, and sponsor commitments and other venues. Provides guidance, feedback, and shapes speaker content throughout the speaker engagement process. 
  • Entrepreneurial: Proactively solicits and responds to customer feedback and industry trends to innovate and adapt WILD’s offerings. Collaborates with partners to experiment with at least one new offering annually.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Degree in related discipline and a minimum of 10+ years of project management experience, with a successful track record of managing and mentoring a team, as well as executing strategic plans rooted in innovation, impact and inclusivity.
  • Demonstrated familiarity and commitment to impactful leadership programming and principles; experience with women’s leadership programming an asset.
  • Experience in building, managing, and facilitating action-oriented networks, ideally across public, private nonprofit sectors and across global geographies.
  • Experienced communicator and inclusive facilitator. Excellent written and verbal  communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills. 
  • Support and uphold the mission, beliefs, and values of the WILD Network.
  • A demonstrated interest in industry trends across the global development industry.
    Proficient in Google Suite and open to learning new SaaS platforms to advance WILD’s goals.
