Background 
FP2030 prioritizes advocacy and strategic partnerships to influence global family planning policies and expand support for contraception. By collaborating with a diverse array of partners, FP2030 aims to advance the global family planning agenda and contribute to achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). To support this mission, we are seeking a consultant to help refine our global advocacy efforts. This consultancy will lead the development of FP2030’s global advocacy roadmap, identifying key opportunities, recommending strategic global advocacy efforts, and suggesting critical global and multi-sectoral partnerships.

Purpose 
The global advocacy roadmap aims to:
• Define a concrete plan with critical pathways, opportunities, and entry points for FP2030 to advance the family planning agenda within UN platforms, the G20, and other relevant processes, and promote the integration of family planning and SRHR with other global health and development agendas.
• Refine the value proposition for advocacy for FP in developed countries, with a focus on North America and Europe. 
• Recommend a cohesive and proactive plan for advancing the rights-based family planning and SRHR agenda, addressing challenges posed by the anti-rights movement and opposition.
• Align global advocacy priorities with other FP2030 strategies, such as the advocacy and accountability framework, youth strategy, gender strategy, emergency preparedness and response strategy, and private sector strategy.

Key Deliverables
• Analysis of the Current Global Advocacy Landscape: Conduct a thorough evaluation of the existing global advocacy environment for family planning and SRHR. Identify key stakeholders, highlight gaps, and pinpoint opportunities for FP2030 to advance the family planning agenda.
• Global Advocacy Roadmap: Create a comprehensive roadmap with actionable recommendations for FP2030. Outline critical pathways and define clear next steps to enhance global advocacy efforts, establish strategic partnerships, and influence the global development agenda.
• Comprehensive Report: Develop an in-depth report documenting the consultancy's findings and outcomes. Provide a detailed analysis along with strategic recommendations to guide future advocacy efforts.

Profile of the Consultant   
In addition to having a proven ability to carry out the responsibilities in the above key activities & deliverables, the successful applicant will have:  
• Experience in Global Advocacy: Proven track record in global advocacy, particularly in family planning and SRHR. 
• Significant Expertise in High-Level Partnership Building: Demonstrated ability to build and engage in multi-sector partnerships at high levels. 
• Advanced Academic and Professional Background: Advanced degree(s) and/or relevant experience in public health, public policy, international development, or closely related fields. 
• Excellent Interpersonal and Communication Skills: Strong ability to effectively communicate with diverse audiences, from in-country CSOs to high-level donors and country representatives. 
• Strong Time Management and Prioritization Skills: Demonstrated ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks efficiently. 
• Strategic Thinking and Project Management: Ability to think strategically and drive projects from inception to successful implementation. 
• Exceptional Report Writing Skills: Proven excellence in producing comprehensive and insightful reports. 
• Language Proficiency: Fluency in English; proficiency in French and Spanish is highly desirable.
