What are your tasks?
  • -Supporting the team in ongoing energy and climate projects with partners in Germany and the EU member states.
  • -Organizing and preparing events and workshops on energy poverty, citizen energy, gender equality and energy.
  • -Cross-national qualitative and quantitative research activities and analyzes in the field of energy supply, energy poverty, just energy transition, gender-disaggregated data, etc.
  • -Conducting semi-structured interviews with various stakeholders.
  • -Support in the preparation of publications in German and English.
  • -Communication and networking, planning and implementation of (social media) campaigns on energy and climate issues.
  • -Writing blog posts, articles, newsletters and press releases.
  • -General administrative and organizational tasks

What do we expect from you?
  • -Interest/education/studies in the field of energy, climate, gender, politics, geography
  • -Creativity, hands-on mentality and organizational skills.
  • -Interest in sustainability issues and identification with our visions and goals.
  • -Ability to work in a team and flexibility.
  • -Good German and English language skills.
  • -Experience with political work (eg in political institutions, associations, NGOs, collectives, etc.) and initial knowledge in the field of gender would be desirable, but not a prerequisite.
  • -Experience in conducting workshops/trainings and in qualitative (policy) analysis would be desirable, but not a prerequisite.
