Gender-based violence (GBV)
 The role:
 As Imkaan’s Grants Manager you will lead the development and implementation of the grant making strategy to provide opportunities for Black and minoritised, by-and-for womens and girls organisations dedicated to ending violence against women and girls (VAWG). You will be responsible for national grants, influencing funders, and managing strategic funding relationships for internal and external (regranting) funding. 

Key responsibilities include: 
● Working closely with the Operations Manager and Financial Consultant to plan grants budgets and cash flow projection. 
● Developing a national grants strategy identifying national charities whose aims and purposes will further the strategic aims of Imkaan. 
● Funder reporting and compliance. 
● Having overall accountability and oversight of Imkaan regranting and grantees to consider analysis of impact, efficiency and effectiveness. 
● Working closely with the Imkaan teams to develop stakeholder engagement and comms strategies around regranting. The successful candidate will have strong grant management experience (between 5 to 10 years) and a passion to improve the lives of Black and minoritised women and girls. 
You will be collaborative and collegiate with a willingness to contribute to and strengthen a strong team culture to empower team members to lead and develop, and be an articulate and confident presenter, able to bring stakeholders together at the highest levels to unlock problems with strong skills of persuasion. 
Strong experience of improving processes and procedures in grant management is key, with a determination to improve access to funding by using innovative, trust-based and participatory, feminist funding principles.
