Key Responsibilities:
• Operational Management: Oversee day-to-day operations of the membership programme, ensuring smooth execution of membership activities.
• Member Engagement: Foster a vibrant community by organising exclusive member events, producing engaging content, and ensuring members are kept informed and inspired.
• Collaboration: Work closely with the Head of Trusts and Memberships to align membership initiatives with broader organisational goals. Collaborate with the communications and campaigns teams to integrate membership engagement into wider activities.
• Data Analysis: Analyse membership data to track progress, identify trends, and inform strategic decisions.
• Leadership: Demonstrate leadership qualities by leading the membership programme with confidence, championing membership across the organisation. 
• Reporting: Provide regular updates and reports to the Head of Trusts and Memberships on membership growth and engagement activities. Support reporting to the CEO and board of trustees as required.
• Compliance: Ensuring all work is delivered in line with compliance and good practice. Particular focus should be on charity law, GDPR and the Codes of Fundraising Practice

Additional Responsibilities:
• Other fundraising: Periodically support with other fundraising activities as needed. This may include responding to a query from a volunteer fundraiser or supporting a marketing campaign for generating one-off donations. • Anti racism: you will work with colleagues to play an active part in our journey to becoming anti-racist.
• Collaborate: Contribute to wider organisational activities and objectives. This includes actively engaging in our anti-racism work, contributing in team meetings and sharing your insights to achieve the best outcomes for Fawcett.

Person Specification:
• Operational Expertise: Strong organisational skills to manage daily operations and multiple projects effectively. 
• Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage and inspire diverse audiences. 
• Analytical Skills: Proficiency in data analysis to inform operational strategies and measure success. 
• Creative Thinking: Ability to generate innovative ideas to attract and retain members. 
• Self-Starter: Proactive and able to work independently with minimal supervision. 
• Experience with Memberships or Individual Giving: Familiarity with the dynamics of membership-driven organisations, particularly within the nonprofit sector. Alternatively, extensive experience in individual giving programs which focus on regular givers. 
• Digital Proficiency: Experience using CRM systems, Microsoft, mailing software and digital tools to deliver and manage fundraising activities. 
• Fundraising Knowledge: Understanding of fundraising principles and practices to support membership growth.
