ABOUT US

Women Donors Network [WDN] is a national network of women donors [cis and trans], nonbinary, and gender-expansive individuals committed to protecting and advancing gender, racial, economic, and climate justice. As a growing multiracial and multigenerational community of donor organizers, we connect, grow, fund and mobilize together in solidarity with movements to transform people, culture, and systems rooted in justice

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

As WDN/A continues to operationalize our new Strategic Plan, the Community and Development Associate will be focused on the following:

MEMBER ENGAGEMENT

  • Support member engagement programs and events to deepen member connections to each other and the membership community.
  • Co-create a strong, supportive membership network culture, inclusive of multi-racial, multi-generational members, that encourages members in their journey to learn, grow, and take action.
  • Connect with members to guide and provide direction as needed by fielding scheduling requests, responding to member questions, and acting as a resource for members looking for specific materials, etc.
  • Manage participant communications before, during, and after community programs and events, including confirming and tracking attendance, answering participant questions, and providing follow-up messages and materials.
PROGRAM COORDINATION

  • Provide logistical and administrative support for community programs [such as regional events, the annual conference, State of the Network, and other community-based gatherings].
  • Coordinate event scheduling within our planning team and members.
  • Create meeting materials, including meeting agendas, slides, reminder emails, and post-meeting recaps.
  • Support the development of the membership community experience by drafting materials and slides.
MEMBERSHIP ADMINISTRATION

  • Support new member onboarding, including sending member gifts and welcome series.
  • Manage and update the Member Portal pages related to the membership committees, including uploading call recordings and notes, adding/removing members, and updating meeting dates/resources.
  • Update membership and recruitment collateral for prospective and new members.
  • Collaborate with the Vice President of Community and Development to support WDN’s CEO with member outreach, including pulling member profiles and updating the tracking spreadsheet.
DATA ENTRY AND ANALYSIS

  • Manage Salesforce CRM, ensuring accurate and up-to-date membership information is maintained and tracked.
  • Generate reports for the Community and Development Team that provide donor segmentation and analysis of prospective members, current members, and renewals in support of member outreach.
TEAM ENGAGEMENT

  • Participate in team meetings and projects, sharing insights, providing thoughtful feedback, and collaborating with colleagues to achieve shared goals.
  • Contribute to a cohesive and inclusive team environment while fostering a culture of leadership and collaboration.
  • Follow organizational standards and ensure timely completion of role responsibilities.

Requirements
  • 2+ years of program coordination experience, with demonstrated success managing well-organized, inclusive programs and events.
  • A steadfast commitment to social justice and WDN/A’s mission, vision, and values; experience in a membership organization is preferred.
  • Understanding and fluency in the complexities of communicating with a dynamic community of multigenerational and multiracial audiences, including differences across race, age, wealth, power, privilege, access, ability, etc.
  • Exceptional writing, presentation and communication skills with proficiency in Google Suite, Zoom, Slack, CRMs, and MacOS.
