Women in Prison, funded by The National Lottery Heritage Fund, are looking for an experienced evaluator for our 40th Anniversary Project. The overall objectives for the project deliverables to accomplish and what will need to be evaluated are-
  • Involving wider audiences.
  • Creating organisational resilience.
  • Developing people’s skills & creating better wellbeing.
  • Our heritage will be identified, better explained, and have people learn from it leading to a change in ideas and actions.
The project started in March 2024 and the evaluation will need to be completed with an evaluation report submitted in May 2025.
Brief and Requirements:
The evaluation consultant will:
  • Develop a robust monitoring framework for the 40th Anniversary project working with the Project Manager and Director of External Affairs, as well as the project’s steering group.
  • Review the project plan, deliverables and outcomes to develop and implement plans for monitoring and reviewing these.
  • Write a final evaluation report.
  • Collate quantitative and qualitative data from the project deliverables to evidence progress towards the project’s outcomes.
Key Experiences and Skills:
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Proficiency in quantitative and qualitative data collection and analysis.
  • Experience with working with vulnerable individuals with a range of intersecting needs.
  • Experience of monitoring and evaluation within a charity, aid agency, donor organisation or similar.
