About Fòs Feminista
Fòs Feminista is an intersectional feminist organization centered around the sexual and reproductive rights and needs of women, girls, and gender-diverse people. Led and governed by the Global South, Fòs Feminista works as an alliance of organizations in 40+ countries worldwide to advance sexual and reproductive health, rights, and justice.

 
Key Responsibilities
1. Project Coordination:
• Assist in developing and maintaining project work plans, timelines, and monitoring systems.
• Support the coordination of project activities in implementation countries by tracking the implementation, trouble shooting, supervising consultants, and documenting progress and challenges.
• Support the coordination of consortium with the organization of working group meetings; including facilitating meeting agenda and producing reports
• Facilitate effective communication and collaboration among project stakeholders, including organizing virtual meetings, workshops, and events.
2. Communication:
Ensure communication strategy’s implementation:
• Collaborate with project leadership to ensure comprehensive communication strategies, activities aligned with project goals and objectives.
• Create compelling written, visual, and multimedia content for various communication channels, including website, social media, newsletters, and press releases.
Internal Communications:
• Facilitate internal communication and collaboration among project team members, partners, and stakeholders.
• Coordinate meetings, workshops, and training sessions to disseminate project updates, share best practices, and foster a sense of community among project participants.
• Maintain documentation and knowledge repositories to ensure easy access to information for all stakeholders.
Monitoring and Evaluation:
• Assist in data collection, analysis, and reporting for project monitoring and evaluation purposes.
• Support the Associate Director in ensuring compliance with donor reporting requirements and project deliverables.
Administrative Support:
• Provide administrative assistance to the Associate Director, including organizing files, drafting correspondence, and managing project documentation.
• Assist in logistical arrangements for project-related activities virtually and in-person as may be required.
 
Qualifications, knowledge, and skills
• Bachelor's degree in public health, social sciences, international development, gender studies, or a related field.
• High degree of fluency in French and English language is required, and Spanish is desirable. Excellent writing and presentation skills in French and English.
• Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a remote, multicultural environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and virtual collaboration platforms (e.g., Zoom, Microsoft Teams).
• Prior experience or knowledge of SRHR issues, feminist advocacy, or project management is an asset.
• Strong relationship and connections to the feminist and SRJ movements, ideally in at least one of Sang pour Sang’s priority regions: Francophone Africa, Asia and the Pacific and Latin America and the Caribbean region.
• Demonstrated cultural competency and a commitment to anti-racism, including to a process of self-reflection and transformation around implicit bias.
• Flexibility and willingness to work virtually with a diverse and multicultural team.
