We're looking for a bright, smart, highly organised person to join our dynamic team and lead on exciting event coordination, financial, HR and administrative operations. 

As (Senior) Event Coordinator and Finance Officer, you will be responsible for one of the most dynamic and challenging positions at ILGA Europe, supporting all staff by providing high quality financial services in compliance with grant regulations and budget constraints; and by coordinating ILGA-Europe’s Annual Conference along with a number of other events.

To fit this role well, you should be strongly committed to working for human rights and equality, and have competencies and demonstrated experience in:
  • Experience with planning and coordinating large events (over 400 participants), including coordinating logistics (e.g. registration, accommodation, venue, sessions and social programme), ensuring effective communication channels with all parties involved, coordinate input towards programme development
  • Solid experience in administrating project budgets, processing of financial documents (in accordance with grant requirements) and implementing internal controls, financial procedures and policies
  • Experience in office administration and problem solving in changing environments
  • Solid experience in human resources, including recruitment and payroll
  • A high standard of written and spoken English, and working knowledge of French or Dutch

Remuneration:
  • Officer level: from €56,815 to €63,370, starting at the beginning of the scale, the expected net monthly starting salary is approx. 2,730 € and increases annually.
  • Senior Officer level: from €64,100 to €67,742, starting at the beginning of the scale, the expected net monthly starting salary is approx. 2,975 € and increases annually.
