Position Duties and Responsibilities
As a vital member of the Development team, the Communications Officer will work to:

●      Develop and execute marketing and communications campaigns to promote Women First’s work, events, and impact, and support fundraising efforts.
●      Create compelling content for various platforms, including social media, website, newsletters, and marketing materials.
●      Manage Women First’s social media channels, including content creation, community engagement, and analytics tracking.
●      Collaborate with Women First staff to ensure consistent messaging and branding across all communications channels.
●      Monitor and analyze the performance of marketing efforts, and adjust strategies as needed to optimize impact and reach.
●      Stay informed about industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in marketing and communications, and integrate innovative approaches into Women First Fund's strategy.
●      Support the         development       of           marketing            collaterals, including              brochures,           reports, and presentations.
●      Coordinate with external vendors, such as graphic designers, printers, and event planners, to execute marketing initiatives within budget and on schedule.
●      Assist in preparing presentations and other materials for the Board of Directors ● Provide support with marketing materials during fundraising events.

Qualifications
●      Experience in marketing, communications, or public relations, preferably in the non-profit sector or with organizations focused on social justice issues.
●      Proven experience in graphic design and content creation.
●      Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, and Canva.
●      Strong copywriting skills with the ability to craft clear and impactful captions.
●      A keen eye for sourcing relevant and meaningful content.
●      Ability to thrive in a collaborative environment and work closely with team members.
●      Excellent time management and organizational skills, with the ability to handle fast-paced work scenarios.
●      Commitment to delivering high-quality work and creating a consistent brand voice for Women First.
●      Knowledge of feminist principles, gender equality issues, and intersectionality.
