The Role
The Programme Coordinator will be responsible for contributing to the fulfilment of the CCG programme’s ambitious vision by supporting the evolution and delivery of CCG Country Strategies and cultivating long-term, meaningful relationships and collaborations across the UK, Africa and Asia.
Key Responsibilities
1. Strategy Development:
1.1. Support the drafting and implementation the country strategies
1.2. Co-develop a monitoring, evaluation and learning (MEL) framework that is aligned with the country strategies
1.3. Support partner coordination teams with country-based workshop delivery
2. Partnership Building:
2.1. Meet regularly with international and UK-based team members to strengthen and progress country networks and collaboration
2.2. Generate reports on stakeholder engagement, country network progression, and the development of a community of practice within CCG partner countries
2.3. Represent the Country Partnerships Team at delivery partner meetings, both in the UK and in CCG partner countries.
3. Country Engagement:
3.1. Co-delivery of in-country workshops, including preparing participant lists, supporting agenda development, and logistics planning
3.2. Ensure inclusive and smooth-running of country-based workshops
3.3 Planning of in-country visits, including setting the agenda, generating mission objectives, and arranging strategic stakeholder meetings
Key skills, knowledge, and experience
The Programme Coordinator will have:
A Master’s degree in a relevant field with 5+ years of experience in the sustainable development sector
Experience building productive collaborations between people from different disciplines, sectors, and countries within a sustainable development context
The ability to extract, condense and present technical research and policy content to a variety of stakeholder audiences
Experience in organising and delivering engagement events both online and in person
An understanding of the academic research process, and academic culture and ways of working.
