What You’ll Do  
  • Support the Generation Equality Forum commitment accountability (internally and externally) and platform sustainability. Track/drive internal engagement and processes for key gender moments at the UN such as CSW and others in the leadup to Beijing+30   
  • Support and work closely with the Senior Program Officer on the GPAF Accelerator portfolio to help shape and lead key grants. Support SPO with portfolio budgeting shifts and strategic tradeoffs.  
  • Represent the foundation’s perspectives with key external constituencies, including Civil Society Organizations (CSOs) and groups such as the Alliance for Feminist Movements, the Global Alliance for Care etc. at various fora and promote a comprehensive ecosystem approach to influencing policy changes.  
  • Facilitate the nurturing and management of partner's relationships in critical regions (working closely with the foundation’s Government Relations Teams and Regional and Country-office colleagues)  
  • Track updates across key multilateral institutions and engage in direct advocacy to multilateral institutions, bilateral donors, and philanthropy to build alignment around shared priorities.   
  • Support in convening stakeholder-specific donor groups to advance shared interests across the gender equality sector.  
  • Work in close collaboration with various teams across the UN, focused on gender issues.   
  • Provide internal updates and analysis of gender policies and related developments in key donor countries.  
  • Develop briefings, talking points, and memorandum support for leadership engagements on relevant bodies of work.  
  • Support the GPAF team on internal learning series and internal newsletters.   
  • Support cross-team data and information sharing.  
  • Support inclusive culture through modeling behaviors and actions; advance issues in a timely fashion to appropriate partners 
 
Your Experience 
  • A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent proven experience.  
  • Detailed knowledge of gender equality issues and the broader gender ecosystem.   
  • Strong expertise in the UN System (and multilateral institutions), government relations and advocacy.  
  • Strong analytical, writing, and verbal skills for communicating with a broad and diverse audience.  
  • Experience in project management and experience working on teams that promote gender equality issues.  
  • Established professional networks within the gender equality sector.  
  • Ability to travel up to 30% of the time domestically and internationally.
