Girls Gone Political (GGP) is a dynamic young women's grassroots civic movement from Zambia that was established in 2020. We are fighting for the enhanced participation and increased representation of authentic young women below 35 in politics and the public service. We are dedicated to amplifying the voices of girls & young women in the political sphere and building their capacities to lead and transform.
Are you passionate about increasing the participation and representation of authentic young Zambian women in politics? Do you believe in the power of grassroots mobilization, advocacy and civic education to create positive change? If so, we want YOU to join our social movement's Core Team!
Volunteer Positions Available:
  1. Civil and Political Education Lead
    • Description: Lead the development and implementation of educational programs and workshops aimed at empowering young women with civic and political knowledge. 
  2. Communications and Digital Engagement Lead
    • Description: Drive our digital presence and communications strategy to amplify our message and reach a wider audience. You will manage, create compelling content, and engage with our online and offline community to spark conversations and mobilize support for our cause.
  3. Student Engagement Lead
    • Description: Empower girls and young women in high school, college and university campuses to become active participants in the political process. You will lead campaigns to inspire student activism, and foster leadership development.
  4. Provincial Grassroot Mobilization Coordinator
    • Description: Coordinate grassroots organizing efforts across the provinces to mobilize girls and young women and communities around our mission. You will recruit and train volunteers, organize community events, and build strategic partnerships to drive local impact and create lasting change.
