Who We Are
Women on Web is a Canadian non-profit organization and online abortion service. We support people to access safe abortion pills in almost 200 countries.


What We Do
For the last 17 years Women on Web has pioneered safe abortion services through mail, paving the way for remote and discreet abortion care around the world.  

We are an international team of help desk workers, activists, researchers, medical providers, and digital rights advocates, specialized in finding solutions to getting abortion pills into the most restricted contexts.

Our team has supported more than 100,000 people to access safe and affordable online abortion care centered around the rights, privacy and preferences of women and pregnant people. 


As a help desk member, you will be responsible for: 

  • providing confidential and compassionate support to women and pregnant people 
  • responding to emails and assisting people who need access to safe abortions 
  • referring requests to doctors who provide medical abortions 
  • maintaining an overview of the service 
  • maintaining knowledge on medical abortion (all staff goes through a standardized training) 
Role requirements: 

  • Available to work at least 7-8 hours/week and during the weekends 
  • Advanced (C2) oral and writing skills in English and native Polish, compassionate communicator 
  • A team player who is also able to work independently within established protocols  
  • Attention to detail (necessary when assisting doctors & performing administrative work) 
  • Pro-actively seeks and provides solutions to challenges and unexpected situations 
  • Integrity and reliability to handle of confidential client information 
  • Service orientated, tact, good listener, desire to help people in a feminist way 
  • Access to computer and stable internet connection (work is performed remotely) 
  • Prior knowledge on sexual and reproductive health and abortion care (desirable)
  • Experience working in non-profit sector (desirable)
