Gender-based violence (GBV)
The Social Collective is a non-profit organization (NPO) whose mission is to develop and support community and social initiatives that address the needs of student communities in postsecondary institutions. The initiatives supported or developed by the Social Collective aim to take concrete action to reduce the impact of issues and problems encountered by student communities in Turtle Island / Canada. The actions taken by the Social Collective can be deployed in postsecondary settings or, more generally, in the various living environments of college and university student communities as well as in the spheres of society where young people thrive and evolve.
Content Development Internship
Main Responsibilities
- Contribute to the design and development of training activities and awareness and prevention programs and/or campaigns adapted to identified audiences
- Ensure that programs' content is adapted to different target audiences (student communities, Indigenous People, 2SLGBTQIA+ communities, etc.)
- Contribute to specific projects, which may include research, document creation, and participation in the development of prevention and awareness campaigns and activities
- Contribute to the implementation of the trainings offered by the Social Collective to its various partners
- Ensure a site presence at certain festivals that have implemented the Order an Angelot accreditation protocol
Qualification Requirements
● Be enrolled in a postsecondary program in social work, sexology, psychology, sociology, feminist studies or any other relevant field of study. One to two years' experience in a relevant field will be considered equivalent.
● Be aged 30 or under at the time of starting the internship
● Be legally authorized to work in Canada (have a valid social insurance number) ● Be a Canadian citizen, permanent resident or refugee
Sexual Violence Prevention
Main Responsibilities
● Carry out visits to bars and similar establishments potentially interested in participating in the OrderanAngelot accreditation protocol
● In collaboration with the team, ensure regular email and telephone follow-ups with current and prospective bars participating in the Order an Angelot accreditation program
● Ensure a site presence at certain festivals that have implemented the Order an Angelot accreditation protocol
● Contribute to specific projects, which may include research, document creation, and participation in the development of prevention and awareness campaigns and activities
● Contribute to the implementation of the trainings offered by the Social Collective to its various partners

Skill Requirements
