Your role
Your role will report to the Innovation Manager, Gender and will be part of the Gender team. You will be required to organize, structure and design processes to support teams to achieve the best possible results. You will pivot between working strategically, analytically, and practically, and be able to work independently. You possess the ability to drive the completion of your goals, maintain a good overview, and actively improve project management systems and the quality of deliverables. You are a well-grounded and solution-driven professional who can build relations with colleagues throughout the organization. You are passionate about your work and what IDH stands for.
Key Responsibilities
- Support developing gender tools and materials to support project teams and gender champions.
- Support knowledge building and knowledge sharing by conducting research and sharing insights.
- Support in monitoring usage of key IDH gender tools (i.e. Gender Tool and E-learning module) for improvements and impact measurement.
- Support in developing training materials for capacity building of different teams.
- Assist with preparing internal and external meetings.
- Support with quarterly and yearly reporting.
- Support in follow-up activities.
- Preparing presentations and other administrative and logistical tasks to support the team
- Monitoring the usage and effectiveness of the revised gender tool and E-learning module
- Disseminating gender insights
What you bring
- Working and thinking at a degree level in Gender and/or Development studies, international development, or another
- Strong communication skills
- Experience and/or knowledge of Gender Transformative Business Models is an added advantage
- Affinity with sustainability and international trade and development
- 3+ years of relevant working experience in project management and analysis
- Excellent spoken and written English
- Relevant private sector or government work experience and affinity with the field in which IDH operates.
- Affinity with sustainability and international trade and development.
- Excellent spoken and written communication skills in English.
Who you are
You are a graduate of a study relevant to the area of work, and specialization courses related to gender equality in the business context are a plus. You have knowledge or a proven interest in the topics of Gender and Business. You have experience with project management, and you are a self-starter with excellent communication, research, and applicable technical skills. You are also detail-oriented, focused on results and you like to work in a fast-paced environment. Prioritizing is one of your strengths and honesty, transparency, and energy are important to you.
