We are looking for (Volunteer) Team Leads for our annual Global Girls Run The World campaign.

A fundraiser in the form of a worldwide race, this campaign (set to take place in March 2024) raises the money for Global Girl Project to build an innovative leadership and community development ecosystem for marginalised girls in the Majority World.

What does a Team Lead do?

Form a team - colleagues, friends, family, local/virtual community. Set a fundraising target and lead the team towards your target over the month of March.

As the team lead, you will be in-charge of a mini-fundraiser as part of the larger Global Girls Run The World Campaign. You can pick a specific funding area you wish to raise funds for and run a tailored campaign with your team.

While it would be helpful to have prior fundraising experience, it is not a necessity. With the community of support that we have, you will not be alone as you fundraise.

This role would be a great fit for social impact professionals looking to build a track record of successful fundraising. We can provide you with a letter of commendation attesting to the funds you raise as a team lead.

Write to us if you wish to volunteer as a team lead for the GGRTW2024 campaign and we will set up a call to discuss the opportunity further. You don’t need to have a team to apply.

If you are in the position to give us a few hours from December 2023 to March 2024 or would like to know more, write to Julia at [email protected].
