Roles and responsibilities:

Execution of Consulting and Leadership Projects
  1. Execution of specific consulting deliverables and tasks assigned including but not limited to 
    1. Creative ideation for different projects; 
    2. Conducting suitable research across different thematic areas which pertain to inclusion, justice, feminist leadership, and social justice; 
    3. Writing research and project reports as required for the different consulting projects; 
    4. Support the development of suitable  tools, frameworks, products for facilitation, advocacy, and capacity building; 
    5. All other related activities pertaining to the consultancy agreement. 
  2. Support on the execution of cohort based leadership programs as well as communities of practice including but not limited to
    1. Research on existing gaps, opportunities, and frameworks pertaining to themes being explored within the leadership programs and the communities of practice.
    2. Support on facilitation, content development, and curriculum design as needed on the different leadership programs and communities of power. 

Execution of campaigns and other related advocacy efforts 
  1. Conduct research on specific themes to support our research and advocacy work. 
  2. Execute specific tasks for the success of our campaigns and advocacy efforts in collaboration with the rest of the team. 

Administrative and additional responsibilities 
  1. Provide operational technical support to the smooth implementation of the different projects under the vertical as required. 
  2. Manage end-to-end experience of the participants of the different programs. 
  3. Prepare reports of the impact and areas of development of the existing programs as per the format and in line with the indicators provided. 


Key Requirements
  1. A bachelor’s degree in development studies, law, policy, or a related field. 
  2. 1 year of relevant full time work experience in research, consulting, advocacy or a related field. 
  3. Comfort with ambiguity and ability to work in a fluid entrepreneurial environment, including willingness to learn new systems or approaches quickly.
  4. Ability to synthesise knowledge from different sources, build interlinkages and apply it to knowledge products and services.
  5. Outstanding written and oral communication skills; 
  6. Excellent interpersonal skills;
  7. Experience in proposal/application writing;
  8. Highly organised and ability to prioritise and multitask;
  9. Ability to have strong attention to detail;
  10. Ability to communicate and work with a remote team;
  11. Resourceful and has a problem-solving approach;
  12. Is comfortable working on partnerships and is good with operations
