Gender-based violence (GBV)

The Gender Program Analyst will primarily support the USAID Global Health Bureau, Office of HIV/AIDS, Priority Populations, Integration and Rights (PPIR) Division as a Credence Institutional Support Contractor (ISC).
The Gender Program Analyst will support USAID's development and implementation of gender-related interventions for HIV prevention, care, and treatment. They will provide support on technical guidance on programming related to gender and gender-based violence, particularly in relation to the HIV clinical cascade. The Program Analyst will coordinate with other USG agencies and donors on related policy development and provide technical assistance to partner governments, PEPFAR country teams and USG implementing partners in the design, implementation and evaluation of technically-sound, cost-effective, and practical approaches to gender-related issues, specifically, and the continuum of HIV prevention, care and treatment broadly.
The Gender Program Analyst (PA)will provide analytical and technical assistance to USAID programs related to gender and gender-based violence. The Gender Program Analyst works closely with subject matter experts, evaluations advisors, project managers and other USAID partners to develop and synthesize data and knowledge that can be used to make sound programmatic and policy decisions. The PA also interact with technical and management staff, managing day-to-day and long range projects, including routine administrative duties, and support more complex analytical tasks such as collecting, compiling, and analyzing data to identify problem areas and make recommendations for solution/improvement in order to meet established USAID’s PPIR goals and objectives. The PA will assist USAID mission staff in developing their capacity to plan and manage activities and will assist international and local partners at the country level to strengthen the implementation of gender-related activities.
