Background:
Building upon the Asia Pacific Trans Health Blueprint (2015), the recommendations and road maps developed from the From Barriers to Bridges (FB2B) Conference (2017), and recent multi-country community-led research on barrier to access to health services (2020), the Asia Pacific Transgender Network (APTN) is providing technical assistance to selected countries in Asia and the Pacific. APTN aims to support evidence-based research and service redesign in developing or upscaling of trans-competent HIV, gender-affirming and other healthcare services to improve access for trans people, and to establish community-led mechanisms and enable advocacy holding governments and healthcare providers accountable for meeting their commitments to trans-competent healthcare. 

APTN developed the Trans COMP tool community-based monitoring (CBM) tool as a resource that can be administered and led by community members to measure the availability, accessibility, acceptability and quality (AAAQ) of healthcare services provided to trans people. The Trans COMP is a community-based and administered monitoring tool that measures the intended outcomes under each country to monitor progress annually. This will be an essential tool that communities will be able to use to advocate for better healthcare systems and services and to hold government and healthcare providers accountable. 

The Trans COMP CBM tool was implemented in APTN partner countries and a report on its use and finding has been developed. APTN is seeking a contractor to create a visual report based on the text and data (approximately 30 total pages from front to back and will include approximately 10-15 infographics (charts, graph) developed from the data presented. 

Scope of Work:

The contractor will work in coordination with the Project Officer to design and layout a visual report consisting of high-quality data-driven graphics from the text report APTN developed consisting of the research results of the Trans Comp CBM tool with local partner organisations in the region. The final product must be delivered both virtually in web compatible format and printer-ready format. 

Tasks and Deliverables include the following:

The duration for this website consultancy agreement and period of engagement is within December 2023 to February 2024 to deliver a digital report with illustrations and graphs developed from the text report and findings. Included in the contract will be one round of revisions and edits. The contractor is responsible for obtaining the necessary computer programs, fonts, etc that will be required for the development of the report. 

Qualification or specialised knowledge/experience required:

● Proven experience in the production of organisational reports which includes visual data. 
● Prior experience working with non profit and NGOs is an advantage
● Professional computer programs and technology required to develop report
