About the role
Through administrative oversight, you will support the Survivor Services team to deliver on our commitment to our funders and partners and meet our strategic goals. This role will support the team’s day-to-day operations and will be responsible for the coordination and execution of administrative tasks.
Responsibilities could include but are not limited to:
  • Inbox coordination; responding to and distributing emails relating to Survivor Services.
  • Calendar coordination for the Survivor Services team.
  • Reviewing and approving invoices.
  • Tracking project expenditure.
  • Coordinating and supporting recruitment processes.
  • Coordinating and supporting onboarding and offboarding for staff, contractors and partners in the Survivor Services team.
  • Data tracking and collation.
  • Supporting the writing and proofing of funding reports.
  • Supporting the scheduling of relevant social media and comms posts.
  • Reviewing and updating internal documents.
  • Auditing and archiving documents.
  • Improving the overall functionality of our Survivor Services administration.
  • Ensuring we are compliant with our obligations and processes.
  • Supporting the monitoring and evaluation of our services.


Your profile
We’re looking for a confident self-starter. You’ll have at least two years of experience in an admin role, and be confident with remote working independently and in small teams. We are looking for someone with a detail-oriented approach, with good organisation and communication skills. You may have a head for numbers, and a keen eye for clear and structured documentation and organisation.

Essential
  • Native-level fluency in speaking and writing English.
  • At least two years experience in an administrative role.
  • Excellent organisation skills.
  • Excellent prioritisation skills.

  • Good time management skills.
  • Good written communication skills.
  • An assertive communicator.
  • Competency in Google Suite software or equivalent, including good Google Spreadsheets or Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Familiarity with Google Drive and Google Documents.

  • Passion for digital technology and fighting gender-based violence.
  • A commitment to learn and work by Chayn’s principles and organisational culture.
