Key Responsibilities
Support the Head of Fundraising in shaping the future strategy for our individual and community fundraising with a strong focus on digital engagement and acquisition
Take responsibility for meeting or surpassing ambitious income targets ensuring we take an audience-led approach to fundraising campaigns, products and events
Develop and maintain effective supporter journeys for the stewarding of relationships and supporter retention
Work closely with our Communications & Digital team to ensure we embed fundraising messages, CTAs and priorities across all our output
Monitor, maintain and manage our fundraising and donation platforms ensuring timely engagement with supporters with the support of the Fundraising Officer and accurately produce regular reports and presentations detailing our fundraising progress and performance
Oversee and manage our portfolio of third-party challenge events, in-house Miles for Mermaids, Facebook Challenges, Tiltify and gaming activity - proactively look for new innovation in the digital fundraising space that Mermaids should be maximising
Oversee and manage our regular giving programme including identifying key moments in the calendar to thank supporters
Develop opportunities and stewardship plans to engage with high-value
supporters
Collaborate with the Head of Fundraising to further develop our Legacy income
stream
Identify opportunities and support the Fundraising Officer with the writing of
grant applications
Collaborate with our Data & IT Department to develop our CRM platform
(Raiser's Edge) ensuring all records are accurate and that data is mana
