social media and want to further the cause of reproductive justice? Are you
proficient in Canva? If you answered yes, we want you on our team!
Role Overview:
As a Social Media Assistant (Freelance), you will play a crucial role in managing
our online presence. Your passion for reproductive rights and sexual health,
particularly for individuals of colour, will drive engaging content that resonates
with our audience.
● Create original text and video content, managing posts and responding to followers.
● Collaborate with other team members to achieve our goals.
● Communicate with followers, respond to queries in a timely manner, and monitor engagement.
● Oversee social media accounts' design (e.g. Facebook timeline cover, profile pictures, and blog layout).
● Suggest and implement new features to develop brand awareness, like promotions and competitions.
Requirements:
● Strong passion for reproductive rights and sexual health, particularly for individuals of colour.
● Previous experience in social media support & management.
● Proven ability to create engaging and compelling content.
● Proficiency in using social media platforms (e.g. Instagram, Canva, Facebook, Twitter, etc.).
● Detail-oriented with an eye for design.
● Registered as self-employed.
