The project aims to close the knowledge gap in law and policy impacting transgender rights in MENA by creating open-access knowledge to assist trans people, activists, and allies in building effective advocacy strategies. We define the MENA region as Arabic-speaking countries located in the region. Each research assistant will be responsible for one of two regions: the Middle East and North Africa.
