About the RoleThe Co-ED will serve as CHEVS’ political lead, representing the organisation in regional and global spaces, including the African Commission, the United Nations and key movement networks, strengthening the organisation’s political presence at regional and global levels. She/They will shape CHEVS’ influencing agenda, lead strategic partnerships, strengthen movement ecosystems, and support donor relations and political positioning. Purpose of the RoleThe purpose of this Co-Executive Director role is to provide strategic, political, and relational leadership for CHEVS’ advocacy and external influence work. She/They ensures the organisation is visible, credible, and impactful within regional and global human rights ecosystems. Internally, she strengthens alignment between strategy, advocacy priorities, donor relations, and movement partnerships.
As the primary external representative of CHEVS’ political and advocacy vision, she/They:- Shapes influencing agendas and high-level advocacy priorities.
- Leads political engagements with regional bodies, donors, and partners.
- Positions CHEVS as a leading feminist, youth-led organisation driving change across Africa.
- Supports the Co-ED (Programmes & Operations) to ensure organisational coherence, governance, and impactful delivery.
Skills and Experience- A woman (cis or trans) or Gender non-conforming person with 3-5+ years of leadership experience in advocacy, partnership, feminist organising, or movement work.

THE TRUSTEE ROLE
As a member of our Board of Trustees, you’ll play a key role at Young Women’s Trust. Working collaboratively with your fellow trustees, you will help ensure we deliver on our vision, purpose and values, as well as act in compliance with our governing document and the law. YWT’s Board is made up of 10-14 trustees who serve a maximum of 2 three year terms. The most effective Boards are ones which benefit from people from a diverse range of backgrounds, experiences and skill sets. Trustees who have recently retired from the Board (or who are due to retire later in 2026) will leave a number of gaps in skills and experience that we are seeking to fill in this recruitment drive. Traineeship descriptionReporting to an assigned supervisor, the trainee provides assistance and support to the smooth functioning of the Stakeholder Relations team’s work by supporting the agency’s inter-institutional relations and stakeholder cooperation, keeping abreast of EU policies relevant for EIGE’s work and monitoring developments that might affect gender equality in the future.
The Brussels liaison office functions to facilitate timely input to relevant policies within the European Institutions and Member State representations, and to develop EIGE’s cooperation with partners from EU institutions, Permanent Representations, civil society, social partners and beyond.
Selected trainees can expect to carry out a variety of tasks from the following list:
- Support in organising EIGE’s stakeholder events, visits and meetings (e.g. Director missions to Brussels, meetings with Brussels-based stakeholders);
- Monitor EU policy-making and prepare regular reports for the Agency;
- Draft briefing notes, speaking points and background papers for EIGE’s management and Brussels liaison officer;
- Assist with the successful organisation of the bi-annual Gender Equality Forum;
- Support the implementation of EIGE’s focus topics in 2026 (care, tackling gender-based violence…) and beyond;
- Support effective exchange between Brussels Liaison Office and Vilnius-based colleagues;
- Perform other tasks assigned by the supervisor or Head of Unit.
The traineeships are open to applicants who have not previously undertaken a traineeship in another EU institution or body, who have a recognised university degree evidencing completion of a full cycle of studies[3] and some initial experience either in issues related to gender equality obtained either through specialisation as part of the applicant’s studies for a university degree, or a dissertation or other research project conducted via a previous traineeship or otherwise through relevant professional experience.

. UNAIDS is an organization that is dependent on the budgetary and extra-budgetary contributions it receives for the implementation of its activities. Bidders are therefore requested to propose the best and most cost-effective solution to meet UNAIDS requirements, while ensuring a high level of service.
Tasks and Deliverables
Under the guidance of the Senior Adviser, Gender and Education Plus, as well as collaboration with other staff of the Practice and departments, the consultant or consultancy firm is expected to provide lead support to the following key tasks and deliverables:
Provide support for review of policy and normative frameworks, such as the implementation of the 2026- 2031 Global AIDS Strategy and related 2030 targets through an intersectional gender lens and based on a community engagement and human rights approach; support to deliver and report on SG’s Gender Equality Acceleration Plan and the UN-SWAP 3.0 development;
Provide technical support on the gender dimensions of the Global Fund’s policies and processes. This includes (but not limited to) review of knowledge products from the UNAIDS-Global Fund MOU and partnership; review of reports from Gender Assessment of the National HIV Response, and Global Fund’s funding application processes; support design of interventions and organizations of workshops and webinars to integrate and implement gender transformative approaches on GF-funded HIV programming at the national level, as well as recommendations of gender assessments, analysis and studies in countries
Provide lead data and research support for advocacy and communications purposes (i.e. for reports, statements, internal briefs, related products), and maintain up-to-date resources on the evidence base on gender-related issues; compile and maintain latest data and emerging findings available across a range of issues affecting women and girls in the context of the HIV response (e.g. adolescent girls and women’s rights, CSE, SRHR, gender-based violence, gender transformative good practices); lead on fact-checking, preparing full citations and supporting quality assurance of plans, reports and other knowledge products;
Support other tasks and deliverables as may be assigned.
Key requirements
Master’s Degree in a related field (e.g., gender equality, human rights, public health, social or political sciences, etc.).
Relevant professional experience of more than 15 years, including in the field of gender equality in the context of HIV response.
Previous work with UNAIDS or other UN agencies. Experience in gender equality within the UN System is an asset.
Technical knowledge in addressing gender, health, and rights issues in developing country contexts, particularly in relation to gender equality, women’s and girls’ rights in the context of the HIV response.
Strong knowledge of, and links with, networks led by women, girls and key populations living with and affected by HIV.
Excellent research, analytical, writing, communication and presentation skills in English, with attention to technical and editorial detail and rigour. Fluency or working knowledge in French and Spanish.

Strategic Planning

By connecting the dots between understanding the problem, identifying effective solutions, tracking progress, and mobilizing for action, TfG creates a synergistic effect that amplifies its impact and drives toward its ultimate goal of creating a safer world for children and adolescents.Responsibilities and dutiesContent development- Research, draft, and produce high-quality external content for TfG and its initiatives – including blogs, longform articles, case studies, web copy, social media, and fundraising materials – by crafting clear, compelling narratives.
- Translate sector-specific activities, research findings, and policy developments into accessible, engaging stories for diverse audiences.
- Conduct interviews and gather insights from partners, experts, and colleagues to inform accurate, compelling storytelling.
- Create graphics in Canva to support and elevate written content.
- Ensure content is trauma-informed, empowering, and aligned with TfG’s values and survivor-centered principles.
- Manage editorial calendar and maintain a steady pipeline of strategic, compelling content.
Story sourcing and strategy- Identify story hooks across TfG’s initiatives that highlight impact, elevate survivor voices, celebrate successes, and showcase global Brave movement-building.
- Work closely with colleagues across program and development teams to understand content needs and identify cross-initiative storytelling opportunities.
- Identify opportunities for evergreen content—including blog series, web pages, case studies, and thematic stories—to showcase the breadth of TfG’s work.
- Recommend the most effective channels and formats to bring stories to life and reach target audiences.
Communications support- Support communications colleagues in implementing digital, social media, internal comms, and news media strategies to help achieve broader team goals during surge times.
- Serve as a communications point of contact in meetings, as appropriate.
- Assist communications team with foundational communications tasks (e.g., news monitoring, meeting minutes, awards submissions).
Other duties, as assigned.Knowledge, skills and experienceRequired- At least 3-4 years of experience in content creation, journalism, communications, or marketing roles.
- Exceptional copywriting, editing, and narrative development skills across multiple formats, including blogs, feature articles, web content and social media.
- Familiarity with content management systems (CMS) and digital platforms.
- Experience using basic presentation and design software (e.g., Canva).
- Self-starter with a willingness to take initiative, be creative, and think strategically.
- Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple priorities.
- Collaborative mindset with experience working across teams and functions.
- Experience working respectfully and professionally with persons who have experienced trauma or hardship.
- Experience working in remote or cross-cultural teams.
- Fluency in both verbal and written English.

PSEA/ Safeguarding Generic (e.g. 'gender focal point' role Gender equality and Social inclusion (GESI)Description of the project
ARTSI aims to design and operationalize a global grant mechanism that supports the reform of subsidies harmful to nature while scaling positive incentives for biodiversity and climate outcomes. The project includes three pilot countries—Colombia, Fiji, and the Philippines— where models of incentive reform will be tested, alongside a co‑design process, knowledge management system, and gender‑sensitive monitoring framework. The initiative aligns with GEF Goal 8.1 to reform environmentally harmful subsidies and advance Target 18 under the Kunming‑Montreal Global Biodiversity Framework.
The Scope of Work described in this RFP will follow from those activities. Specifically:
• Support ARTSI pilot programs in implementing safeguard and gender monitoring as identified in workplan developed in prior contract.
• Review the Strategic Environmental and Social Assessment (SESA) approved for the project and support its implementation by integrating and monitoring mitigation measures in project and pilot activities.
• Support the Partnership and MEAL Manager in disseminating, implementing, and monitoring, and capturing data for the SEP, GMP, and AGM to ensure inclusive participation, gender equity, and accessible grievance redress mechanisms throughout project activities. Ensure that materials, communication channels, and venues are adequate for reaching disadvantaged/ vulnerable groups. Support the effective functioning of the Accountability and Grievance Mechanism (AGM), ensuring accessibility and responsiveness to women, Indigenous Peoples, and vulnerable groups.
• Develop and deliver training modules and materials on gender equality, safeguards, and inclusive stakeholder engagement for PMU staff, pilot teams, and implementing partners.
• Provide advisory inputs to the knowledge management and learning system to ensure gender-responsive knowledge generation and sharing, contribute to the Knowledge Management and Community of Practice Plans, and ensure gender and social inclusion considerations are mainstreamed in learning events, training, and communications.
• Provide technical assistance for pilot activities in Colombia, Fiji, and the Philippines to adaptively manage recognized risks, identified in previous contract.
• Contribute to the development and/or review of evaluation criteria for the ARTSI pilots to address social and environmental impacts on different stakeholder groups and the effectiveness of safeguard provisions; contribute to pilot evaluation reports.
Offeror requirements:
The below listed criteria represent the minimum requirements for all offerors responding to the RFP.
• Advanced degree in gender studies, environmental or social sciences, natural resource management, or a related field.
• Minimum of seven (7) years of relevant professional experience integrating gender and safeguards in conservation, including preparation and implementation of Environmental and Social Impact Assessments (ESIAs), and working experience creating, implementing, and monitoring Environmental and Social Management Systems (ESMS).
• Knowledge of and experience in implementing international social safeguards policies/standards (e.g., GEF, GCF, World Bank, IFC); familiarity with CI-GEF Environmental and Social Management Framework (ESMF).
• Knowledge and experience with grant-making procedures, including safeguards compliance and gender and IP&LC inclusion.
• Experience designing or supporting stakeholder engagement processes and grievance redress mechanisms.
• Familiarity with women’s associations and networks, indigenous associations.
